At the most basic level, your pitch is a catchy, concise explanation of who you are and what you do — or who your new venture is and what your venture does. This is your chance to take everything you’ve learned in this process and turn it into an engaging, coherent story. Beyond the basics, though, pitch details differ a lot. You might pitch to a group of potential investors, competition judges or even a college admissions interview. Learning to pitch is just learning to tell your own story in a way that works for your audience.
